I took him to task and asked if he was "truly" sorry, or if those were just high-sounding words. I told him that to win us back as customers, they would need to compensate us for our wasted time, plus order the identical car without requiring us to make a down-payment. Racine Toyota came through on both counts! We picked up our vehicle last Monday, and were treated like royalty by Dan the salesman and everyone else at Racine Toyota.
I found a reliable vehicle there, that’s very important to me.
It is a nice place, easy to find, the people working there are wonderful. I was happy to make my purchase at Racine Toyota.

We have always been GM owners, but when we switched to Toyota last year at the recommendation of many Toyota owners, we were very impressed. So when we needed to switch our second car, we naturally went to Racine Toyota. Now we have our own "Toyota experience" and recommend Racine Toyota to anyone needing to purchase a new car.

I purchased a Rav 4 last year from Racine Toyota and enjoyed a smooth, hassle-free experience. (Not an easy thing for this car shopper.) From the sales professional to the service for this car and my 2001 Sequoia that has 315,000+ miles, all my encounters have been positive. Today, I called to see if I could get copies of my purchase papers, as I misplaced (a.k.a. lost) my copies. I was referred to Hanna in the office and she did not hesitate to help by sending copies of the sale and extra protection information to me. With people like Hanna in the office, Linda in service, and all other staff I have encountered, I will continue to look forward to working with the staff of Racine Toyota. This team makes loyal customers for the brand of Toyota and Racine Toyota. Thanks to all of you.

I truly recommend it to anybody.
I wish I could go lower, but I can't go lower than one star. My wife is looking for a new car, and we found one on-line at Racine Toyota. They provided us an acceptable price, and we made an appointment with them to get it. They said in writing they "would put the car on hold" for us. Three hours before the appointment, the sales manager called to confirm that we were still planning to come in, and we said yes. But after driving 40 minutes to the appointment, they tried to sell us a different car of the same color. When we said this is not the car we agreed upon, they finally admitted that they had just sold our car a few hours ago! Nobody bothered to call us to cancel our appointment! They said we could order another one, but I told them I just drove 40 minutes to get THAT car TODAY! When I asked how they could sell a car that had been put on hold for us, the sales manager said, "well, we sell cars. That's what we do." I swear, that is a direct quote! I just couldn't believe it! Steer clear of these crooks!
He agreed that's not the way to treat customers. He explained that the car which had been put on hold for us was actually never available, since it had been pre-ordered by another customer, who came in that morning to pick it up. So it was a clerical mistake that fell through the cracks of their system. They have since corrected the problem so it won't happen again to somebody else.
